Slow getting back in the saddle!

Hi all, I realize I have been remiss with this thing for a long time. Man that Extra Corporeal Lithotripsy put me right on my knees for a long time. It felt like I had been in a fight in a dark alley with a bunch of muggers, ALL delivering kidney punches!! It has been just like having a bad case of mononucleosis(sp), which I have had before. I was making a continual circuit from the couch, to the chair, to the bed, to the floor! No place felt good. Anyway it all seems to be on the wane and hopefully I'll be able to come up with a viable comment in a few days.
I did have a short conversation with Peter Wood the other day and he asked me where I ever got the idea that he changed or left out parts of letters to the Ed. when he owned the paper. He told me in no uncertain terms that I was completely in the wrong there. If so, let this serve as an apology. If not,????????????. TIFN Everett

He's probably right - they only catch minor spelling mistakes and then not too many. I've never had any trouble, except maybe that the "O" and the "I" letters on the keyboard are too close together. So I tried to write about Champlain's expanded docks and ended up sounding like a Viagra commercial. Oh well, that's what you get for working at Dead-Eye Docks! Fortunately, I kept the offending letter to myself...

Hey Everett, could you erase my last post for me? It was a little tacky, and I can't erase it from here. Thanks!

Oh, what the hey, if Bob Dole can do it I quess we can too. I was just wondering if I sullied your blog but it sounds like you weren't offended. I sure hope you're feeling better after all that doctor stuff. Let's see, the hurricane season starts within a month so the folks from Texas to Carolina are starting to get nervous - my folks are thinking of moving from the Bahamas up to Block Island to escape all that. Can you imagine camping through three major hurricanes in one season? May have to have a reunion up there again!

Oh, we always meet at the Oar for our reunions and we've got a paddle on the wall behind the cash register, last I checked. Proof! OK, so do about 500 other folks. Until then, shoot straight, sit tall in the saddle, and drink lots of milk.
