My Five Little Christmas Treasures!

Verna and I wish for ALL of you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a happy New Year! Trite though the exclamation may be, it is from the heart and meant sincerely. Those five faces in the picture above, are what the season is all about as far as I am concerned! Peace to All, and to all, Goodnight! Posted by Picasa

That's what it's all about, Everett! Now, you mentioned one you called Pinkie ... aw you tell me which one. Frankly I'm jealous - no grandkids for us yet. /sam

The second from the left is my "little plumeria" :) BTW the word verification letters before me spell GITOFF. I wonder if someone is trying to tell me something? TIFN

Aw, Pinkie is precious, Everett. Do you see serious eyes?

Everett,

Am I having a "senior moment" or did I forget to mention that Pinkie the Plumeria has a huge seed pod ... and that I could send some seeds if you want?

Pssst. Don't tell anyone, but you have to put on a nylon stocking over the pod because when it bursts the little seeds have wings on 'em, like maple seeds, and they fly away like little whirligigs - only you'll never find these little whirligigs. I don't like manly folks watching while I do this.

Anyway, it's a nifty plant but like any tropical, it is not good below 38 degrees (even with stockings on).
Email me sometime in the upcoming months - April is the time to plant inside. /sam

Hey Everett, why don't you post your latest letter to the B.I.times here so we can answer it
